Special Cell Standing Committee
| Procedure of the Committee: |
| Notices are issued for the awareness and motivation of the students. In order to solve the issued, two meetings of the concerned committee are held. The committee strives to follow annual practice of providing details of the various functions of the committee. |
| Aim: |

To generate ambience based on anti-caste based discrimination in the college.
|
| Objectives: |
- 1. To implement the reservation policy in the admission procedure.
- 2. receive complaints of any dispute on the basis caste discrimination by faculty and students.
- 3. To act on the complaints received in a stipulated time period.
- 4. To guide students for the benefit of Scholarships.
- 5. To supervise the allotment and distribution of scholarships for various reserved candidates.
- 6. To make awareness about different welfare schemes, policies and acts of governments among students and faculty.
- 7. To provide inclusive environment through different activities.
- 8. To deal with representations of students on college committees.

Frequency of Meeting: -Twice in an academic year
Functions of the Special Cells:
- To circulate Government of India and Commission’s decisions and to collect regularly, on an annual basis, information regarding course-wise admissions to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes for different courses
- To circulate Government of India orders and Commission’s decisions regarding the reservation policies
- To collect reports and information regarding the Government of India orders on the various aspects of education, training and employment of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates
- To deal with representations received from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates regarding their admission and in Universities/Colleges.
